Wrigleyville

GO CUBS! Wrigleyville is Lakeview’s ‘Sports Central’, and is home to the 101 year old Wrigley Field and Major League Baseball’s Chicago Cubs. In 2013, Rolling Stone named Wrigley Field the #2 rock concert venue in the country. It’s hosted music greats such as Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Billy Joel, Jimmy Buffett, Elton John, and Rascal Flatts.

When you aren’t enjoying a game or concert, Wrigleyville offers plenty of other distractions. From sport bars to beer gardens and from bistros to Thai, there’s plenty to keep the appetite satisfied. Sydney R. Marovitz golf course, softball and soccer fields, and tennis courts are walking distance (or quick Uber ride) away. Lake Michigan, the Lakefront Trail, and Bill Jarvis Migratory Bird Sanctuary are less then 1 mile east from Wrigley Field. For your grocery needs, Lakeview’s Whole Foods on Halsted is nearby, as is Southport Corridor’s new Jewel-Osco.

Public transportation is serviced by CTA buses and the El. The Red Line’s Addison stop is in the heart of Wrigleyville. The Southport Brown Line stop is a short distance away.

Wrigleyville’s neighborhood elementary schools include top rated Nettelhorst Elementary and Blaine Elementary. Public secondary school is Lake View High School at the corner of Ashland Ave and Irving Park Rd.

Wrigleyville’s housing options are as diverse as its population, with the perfect home for most needs. From townhomes, to row homes, to single family homes, to condominiums, to apartment rentals: Wrigleyville offers a truly diverse selection of housing.
